Editorial policy
Emerald Bulletin aims to publish useful, readable material about edible gardening with care for accuracy, context and editorial independence. We make the basis and limits of an explanation clear, and welcome readers pointing out errors.
Accuracy and corrections
We check factual claims against suitable reference material before publication and avoid presenting a general observation as a rule for every place or growing condition. If a reader identifies a possible error, we review it and correct material when warranted; significant changes are noted in the relevant article. Contact us with the article title and the detail in question.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and partners do not control unrelated articles.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. We aim to make that clear where it matters to interpreting an image; illustrations are not evidence that a pictured plant, garden or method has been observed or tested.
A garden is a set of choices
We look for the useful detail: what can be reused, what deserves space, and how gardening habits take shape.
